Play-based movement that builds a foundation for life

View Schedule

Why Start at 2?

The earliest years are when motor patterns are laid down for life. Our toddler classes use the Peabody Motor Development framework to guide play-based sessions that build balance, coordination, and body awareness — all while kids have fun with coaches and peers.

What Your Child Will Do

2 Year Olds

Focused on developing both Gross Motor and Fine Motor Skills through formal play-based exercise.

Activities & Focus Areas:

  • Balance exercises: mini balance beam, one-foot balance on dots, zig-zag walks
  • Jumping and safe landing practice
  • Introduction to climbing: rock wall, ladder, net
  • Crawling adaptations and floor-based movement
  • Pushing and pulling activities
  • Play-based exploration with coaches
3 Year Olds

Continuing foundational work while transitioning from pure play-based to coordination-focused movement. The main focus is using both sides of the body together — and starting to build confidence.

Activities & Focus Areas:

  • Elevated beam balance, kids-sized bosu ball
  • Jumping and landing off elevated and uneven surfaces
  • Climbing with less assistance: rock wall, ladder, net
  • Backward movement patterns
  • Bilateral integration — connecting brain and body
  • Color matching and simple memory games
